Two Main Configurations of Metal Foundry Crane

Capacity: 1 ton to 10 tons, work duty: A6, ambient temperature: ≤60℃

AQ-LDY type single girder overhead crane for foundries is designed and manufactured in line with JB/T 1306-2008. It lifts and lowers the load by using AQ-YHⅡ metallurgical electric hoist.

This type of crane features lower cost, simpler structure, easier installation and maintenance as compared to its double girder counterpart.

Overhead Crane Parts

The overhead travelling crane is mainly composed of the bridge, hoist and trolley, crane travelling mechanism and electric control system.

Bridge – it is the load-bearing component of the crane, which consists of one or two bridge girders, two end trucks, walkways and railings. It is ruggedly constructed for high reliability and longer life. The walkways and railings enable the maintenance personnel to inspect or repair the crane easily and safely.

Hoist trolley – it is the unit to raise, hold and lower the load. Steel core wire rope is utilized for reliability, durability and safety of load handling. There are a range of equipment for a safe lifting operation, such as short circuit protection, electrical interlock protection, over speed protection, load limiter, double limit protection and safe brake protection.

Crane travelling mechanism – it makes the crane run along the runway beams. Forged or rolled wheels are used for reliable and smooth movement.

Electric control system – all electrical equipment take thermal insulation measure for safety and longevity. They can be either imported or made in China based on your requirements.
